AGS Christmas Carols 2019

Asian Grammar School proudly celebrated the joyful event ‘Christmas Carols 2019’ on 3rd of December, at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Gotatuwa. Our chief celebrant for the evening, Rev. Father Malcolm Kandappa (Academic in-charge of the Engineering Faculty of Aquinas College), the sisters of the Gotatuwa church convent along with our dear madam principal, Dr. Thushari Koralage, our dear deputy principals followed by our respective teachers were present to grace the event.

The church was fully packed with enthusiastic parents, teachers and children. Christmas time is not only a season but also a feeling that enriches our hearts with the embracement of the birth of Jesus Christ. Therefore, the event was heartfelt by the beautiful singing of Christmas carols by our talented students of Primary and Secondary grades and Teachers of AGS. Nevertheless, at the end Santa Claus also did not forget to make his entrance to amaze and entertain the audience present and our children with much love and with a bag full of toffees. AGS Christmas Carols 2019 was not only a success but one of the religious events celebrated by our school recollecting the unity among all races and religions and encouraging our students to outstand themselves in working together and pioneering towards greatness.
