He later became the host of the Prime time TV show ' Seethala Eethala' at Charana TV and talked about contemporary issues in Sri Lanka with emphasis on the obstacles faced by the youth hence becoming a Youth Advocate.

Sandro, who is a proud former Head Prefect of Asian Grammar School (2018/2019) is currently a News Anchor/Editor at Sun FM and Gold FM News under the HIRU News Team (Asia Broadcasting Corporation) which is Sri Lanka's biggest Media Network.

And with less than a year in the field of News, he was nominated and awarded the prestigious award of the Best English News Presenter at the State Radio Awards (ගුවන්විදුලි රාජ්‍ය සම්මාන උළෙල).
