Rules and Regulations

1. A parent / guardian intending to enroll their child to the school must submit the application form, duly completed and signed. False, inaccurate or misleading information could lead to rejection of the application for admission or to the child’s withdrawal from the school. The parent must at all times inform the school of any changes to such information, (including telephone numbers) in writing.

2. The admission of the school is at the absolute discretion of the school and on being offered a place the Parent / Guardian shall pay the required school fees.

3. Please note that fees are normally reviewed on an annual basis, but the school reserves the right to revise the fee structure at any time.

4. School Hours: Monday to Friday

   Grade 1 (7.30a.m. – 1.00p.m.)
   Grade 2 (7.30a.m. – 1.00p.m.)
   Other Grades (7.30a.m. – 1.30p.m.)

   All gates will be closed exactly at the times mentioned above and late comers will not be excused under any circumstances. Prior approval is required from the office, for the child to come to school late or to leave school early for a valid reason.

5. Term fees shall be paid before the first month of the respective term.

   1st Term – before 31st of January
   2nd Term – before 31st of May
   3rd Term – before 30th of September

   The children will not be allowed to sit for the term end exam, if the term fees are not paid for the respective term.

6. Admission and Term Fees will not be refunded under any circumstance.

   i. Please note that if a student attends even one day of a term, that term fees must be paid and if the student leaves within a term, the Admission and term fees are non-refundable.
   
   ii. If a student takes leave from the school for a period of time and applies for re-admission, then the term fees should be paid continuously to hold their place or they must re-register as a new student, if not the student will be considered as an individual who left the school without notice.(This will apply for a short or long time period of vacation)

7. The school reserves the right to suspend or expel a child in a case of misconduct or a serious breach of a discipline issue occurred, mainly if this has a detrimental effect on the other students in the school.

8. In the case of a medical emergency, where neither parent or guardian can be contacted to give consent, the parent / guardian consents the Head of School to authorize the medical examination of the child by a registered doctor, or send the child to a clinic / medical centre.

9. The school does not permit any form of offence, bullying or intentional harm practiced through social media forums such as chat groups, video meetings and internet-based activities. Parents and students using any social media platforms must, at all times, demonstrate respect for the school and members of the school community.

   • Parents and students must not breach confidentiality, conduct, insult, make threats, illegal activities, to any person attached to the school community or act in any way that damages the good name of the school and any violation of these conditions by the parent or the student may result in legal actions including the immediate dismissal of the student from the school.

10. The school shall be entitled at any time to revise, add or delete any rules and regulations in respect of the admission of the child and their continued enrolment at the school in writing.

11. Only the School and Parent / Guardian are parties to this contract. The student is not a party to it and nor is a third party sponsoring the student.

12. Do not honk your horn in the event of traffic congestions. There will be staff, deployed to pick your child up at the gate for parents who do not require parking. Security officers on duty are well briefed regarding the rules and regulations of the school. Decisions made by the security officers will be final with regard to parking and activities near the school gates.

13. The school maintains a transport network connecting all areas at a very reasonable fee supervised by the school management. Parents are advised to use this transport facility in order to reduce the traffic congestion and maximize security and safety of the students.
    (We request the parents to use the school transport in order to avoid the traffic congestions)

    I have read and understood the above agreement, rules and regulations and I will abide by them at all times. I hereby clearly confirm and accept to perform all such responsibilities and adhere to all the rules and regulations stated on the agreement.
